The caps can handle any type of weather.  The only issue could be that in extreme cold the batteries will not perform to their full capacity. However, when the temperature returns to the recommended operating temperature, the batteries will recover to their normal capacity. The recommended operating temperature for the batteries is -4°F to 130°F (-20°C to 54°C).
