The manufacturer is Automotive Upgrade Technologies, Inc, a US-based company that has devoted itself to improving the performance and safety of vehicles everywhere.

Automotive Upgrade Technologies began as a subsidiary of public corporation Aviation Upgrade Technologies, also headed by Torbjörn “Mini” Lundqvist. In 2006, Automotive Upgrade Technologies became an independent corporation with its main focus on tire pressure monitoring systems.

The patents for the Tire Pressure LED invention were filed in 2001 and, simultaneously, research and development began on the project.

In 2004, mass production of the product began by contract manufacturing in China. Unfortunately, due to the lack of control with contract manufacturing, the supply of the product did not always meet the market demand.

Therefore, Automotive Upgrade Technologies opened its own manufacturing plant, Tire Pressure Systems Ltd, in China during the summer of 2010.

All our products are now produced by this plant, where we are fully in control of volume, quality, and supplier selection. Components for the cap are made in several countries, including USA, Taiwan, and China. Our mission is to develop and produce tire safety related products for the after-market automotive industry.

The products on this website are exclusively developed by us (Automotive Upgrade Technologies, Inc and/or its founder Torbjörn B. Lundqvist). *

We possess granted patents and/or pending patents on all our products. We are aware that some companies are marketing counterfeit versions of our product made by lesser quality factories in China and other low-wage countries. In order to offer competitive pricing, we also manufacture in China; however, we own and operate our own factory, making only our products under strict quality control, where each product is individually tested before shipping.

All our products are constantly updated and refined to make sure we take advantage of the latest technology and materials on the market. Therefore, any copied product will inherently be a step behind.
